This study investigates the impact of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) implementation on strategic decision-making processes within the private sector in Egypt, with a particular focus on the mediating role of organizational excellence. Adopting a positivist research philosophy, the study utilized a quantitative methodology, collecting structured data from 100 employees and managers across diverse industries. The findings reveal a significant positive relationship between LSS implementation and strategic decision-making, with organizational excellence—measured through employee engagement, leadership, and financial performance—acting as a crucial mediator. LSS practices, particularly those enhancing process efficiency, employee productivity, and customer satisfaction, were found to improve data-driven decisions, cross-functional cooperation, and continuous improvement within organizations. Moreover, the study highlights the importance of fostering a data-driven culture and cross-functional collaboration to maximize LSS benefits. The conclusions emphasize the transformative potential of LSS in boosting both operational efficiency and strategic agility, particularly in the volatile economic environment of Egypt's private sector. The study recommends that organizations invest in LSS training, enhance leadership and employee engagement, continuously refine processes, and integrate advanced analytics to optimize decision-making and sustain competitive advantage. Future research could explore sector-specific adaptations of LSS, the role of digital transformation, and the influence of organizational culture on LSS effectiveness.
