The study was applied on four different hospitals in cairo, qalyubiyya, and sharqia governorates representing three different types of hospitals which are university hospitals, teaching/educational hospitals, and public hospitals Results showed significat relationship between all servant leadership dimensions except organizational responsibility and institutional excellence. In addition, the researcher found significant differences between respondent’s responses within the four selected Egyptian hospitals based on their job title, differences were skewed more towards doctors rather than nurses & pharmacists. The study recommends in order to increase institutional excellence level in Egyptian hospitals, hospital managers need to improve their cognitive & conceptual skills, personal values, emotional containment, and empowerment practices.
